The Kidforce name has been a longstanding stalwart in the Cleveland, Ohio pinball scene. Now, after two months of hard work, the standalone Kidforce Pinball arcade has opened its doors in nearby Berea, Ohio, ushering in a new era for one of the biggest pinball communities in the nation. Packed with machines new and old, including both pinball and arcade games, Kidforce Pinball is a family-friendly operation that's perfect for an afternoon of affordable entertainment. Featuring the latest and best games on display and a slew of events to attend, Kidforce Pinball has already established itself as a premiere pinball location in the Cleveland area. Let's take a closer look at everything this exciting new spot has to offer!

Kidforce Pinball: Flipper Fun for Everyone

For Kidforce Pinball co-owners Joe Kiskis and Don Johnson, flipper-based fun has always been a priority. Before the arcade opened in 2024, a healthy supply of machines could be found at Kidforce Collectibles, which has been operating for well over 15 years. In that time, Kidforce Collectibles underwent three separate expansions before occupying its current location. For years, Kidforce Collectibles has been a proverbial treasure trove, offering an impressive selection of trading cards, comics, board games, action figures (vintage and modern), and much more. However, as the pinball collection rapidly increased in size, a new space was needed to occupy the ever-growing community of flipper fanatics. Thus, Kidforce Pinball was conceived, and you can now visit the arcade right next door to Kidforce Collectibles at 103 Front Street, Berea, Ohio.

Simply put, Kidforce Pinball is a haven of great games and friendly faces, featuring over 30 machines available to play via coin drop. There's an excellent variety of machines on display, including the latest Stern titles, fantastic solid-state games like Eight Ball Deluxe and Black Knight, and a handful of bonafide DMD classics such as Attack from Mars, Addams Family, and more. The lineup is always growing and changing, so it's a good idea to check out Kidforce Pinball on Pinball Map for the most up-to-date list of machines.

Tournaments and Leagues Aplenty

In addition to casual fun, Kidforce Pinball is also a great destination for competitive play, as there's always a league or tournament to look forward to. For starters, Kidforce Pinball is home to one of the largest pinball leagues in the entire country, which often sees over 100 players per season. Designed for players of all skill levels, the Kidforce Pinball League has been running strong for over a decade, with no end in sight. Besides the main league, Kidforce also hosts an inclusive Women's league, weekly Friday Night Knockout IFPA tournaments, and several other large-scale tournaments throughout the year. Whether you're completely new to competitive pinball or a longtime veteran, Kidforce Pinball often has a league or event that will be to your liking.

There's also a lot to be said about the general vibe of Kidforce Pinball, which fluctuates between a laid-back arcade and an excitable weekend hangout spot. It's an energetic location with a lot of personality, complimented by modern amenities such as high-def televisions, which often broadcast local sports and online pinball tournaments. There's also an adequate amount of seating, so you're free to kick back between games or just soak in the blissful sounds of pinball. Thanks to the close proximity, it's also easy to pop over to Kidforce Collectibles and participate in other events, like the various card game competitions and other events which are held almost every night of the week.

So, the next time you're in the Cleveland area (perhaps attending the Cleveland Pinball and Arcade Show in the fall), consider stopping by Kidforce Pinball and checking out the new digs!
