Joystix Classic Games and Pinballs
Joystix Classic Games & Pinballs is a large store and event space serving gamers in Houston, TX since 1987. With more than 200 machines, Joystix showroom offers the largest collection of retro arcade games and pinball machines available for sale and rent, along with air hockey, foosball tables, skeeball, jukeboxes and an attached cash bar and food truck. Rent the showroom for your next event or stop in after 9 PM on the first and last Friday of each month for all you can play video games until 2 AM for only $15 – cash only and you must be 21 or older.

Appalachian Pinball Museum
Built in a former movie theater, the Appalachian Pinball Museum in Hendersonville, NC feels grand when you enter this retro arcade experience. Placards on each machine explain its history as you go from playing a shooting gallery game from the 60's to playing a newly released pinball machine. Grab a can of beer and try your hand at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tales from the Crypt or Twilight Zone. Folks under the age of thirteen must be accompanied by an adult, but it’s free to take a gander or $12 to buy a wrist band and play all day. Don’t miss their collection of 80’s push pins.

The Arcade
Do those arcades you see in 80’s movies still exist? In Brighton, MI they do! The Arcade is a throwback pinball and classic video games arcade open on weekends to play all day for a small entrance fee. Shooters, racing games, machines from Japan, Star Wars Battle Pod, lots of old Williams, Nintendo and Midway cabinets and every kind of Donkey Kong and Mortal Kombat cabinet ever created. Play The Big Lebowski pinball until you can go bowling with Donny in the bowling alley below the playfield or play your favorite themes from the 80's, 90's, and today's most popular machines plus a great collection of Jersey Jacks. The Arcade will also buy, sell, trade and repair machines for your personal collection.

Flashback Pinball Arcade
There is fun for the whole family at Flashback Pinball Arcade in Conway, AR. Old arcade cabinets restored to mint condition and more than 50 classic pinball machines will take parents and grandparents back to their youth. Challenge the kids to a game of air hockey or giant Jenga, and enjoy the retro memorabilia for a small cover charge and a pocket full of quarters. We think John Schneider hangs out here! Classic Arcade Pinball Museum
It is worth planning a trip to downtown Chattanooga, TN to experience the Classic Arcade Pinball Museum. This interactive museum is dedicated to the history, science, and fun behind the fascinating game of pinball! Placards explain the history of vintage machines so you’ll leave knowing that Hercules is the largest pinball machine ever, how Earthshaker shakes, and why Delta Queen is a local favorite. Play all day for the price of admission with your come-and-go wristband or grab something from the snackbar. Local? Join a tournament or league.

Maine Silverball Tavern
Pinball artwork from Brian Allen covers the walls of Maine Silverball Tavern in Saco, ME, where you’ll find a nice collection of craft beer and an even better collection of quarter-player pinball machines. Make your way down the row of Williams machines, including Grand Lizard, Fish Tales, and Taxi, then head to newer Stern machines, including The Mandalorian, complete with a Grogu doll on the playfield, and don’t miss the handful of old electro-mechanical pinball machines like pitch and bat baseball games. All ages are welcome, but a parent must accompany children. Silverball Tavern is also a host of The New England Pinball League and tournaments.

The Pinball Lounge @Oviedo Bowling Center
The Pinball Lounge at Oviedo Bowling Center in Oviedo, FL is where central Floridians flock to flip on limited edition machines with premium toppers and favorites like Bride of Pinbot, Houdini and Dialed In, and they are all set to a loose tilt. Machines usually run on quarters, but watch for all you can play specials or join a tournament or league. Did we mention the attached bowling alley with a full bar and food menu?

Galloping Ghost Pinball

Name your favorite game and you’ll find it at Funspot – one of the largest collections of late-1970s to mid-1980s arcade games in the world. For over 60 years, the village of Weirs Beach in Laconia, NH has been home to this entertainment mecca of three-stories and 75,000 square feet. Visit the American Classic Arcade Museum with over 250 pre-1987 video games and pinball machines. Funspot also offers bowling, bumper cars, kiddie rides, an 18 hole indoor mini-golf, a zipline adventure park, cash bingo, air hockey, skeeball, over 600 arcade games and pinball machines, a pizzeria, and a tavern with pool, darts and a full bar.

Free Play Pinball Arcade
Free Play Pinball Arcade in Fraser, MI is an excellent, medium-sized classic video and pinball arcade that is family-friendly and serves a little alcohol. Pay one price and play all of the arcade blockbusters from the late 70s and 80s, with the exception of Hercules – the largest pinball machine ever made and one of only about 10 machines still in circulation. That’ll cost you a dollar. Ready for a tournament? Choose from pinball, darts, bubble hockey and foosball.

It’s a ghost town with a penny arcade... located in a classic Colorado mountain town! Arcade Amusements in Manitou Springs, CO is comprised of multiple old west storefronts. Inside each building, you’ll find more games: a nickel and dime building with antique penny arcade games, a dedicated skeeball outpost with old fashioned and more modern skeeball machines, a gallery of grocery store kiddie rides, and pinball spread throughout the land. No, they’re not the latest machines, but we promise you’ll have a good ‘ole time.

Super Abari Game Bar
Super Abari Game Bar in Charlotte, NC is a barcade with a portal to the past for adult “kids.” More than 90 arcade games are arranged around a display of screens playing 80s movies. Drop some quarters into more than 30 pinball machines like Indiana Jones, Halloween, Willy Wonka, Creature from the Black Lagoon and Stranger Things. This modern spot serves craft beers and cocktails and is almost exclusively 21+ with the exception of noon to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Decades Arcade
Central Virginia’s largest arcade is Decades Arcade in Charlottesville, VA has arcade games from the 80s and 90s, home consoles from the 70s to today, and four decades worth of pinball machines. One of the nation’s finest pinball arcades, Blizzard Mountain Pinball in Conifer, CO has a great mix of early solid state games, higher-end Bally and Williams games, premium Sterns, Jersey Jacks, and high-end older games like Addams Family, Medieval Madness, and Tales of the Arabian nights. It’s a family-friendly spot with snacks and drinks where you can play by the hour on a pay card system or just drop quarters into the machines. Crabtowne USA
Why is the best arcade for miles around in a crabshack? To double down on classic Maryland nostalgia! At Crabtowne USA in Glen Burnie, MD you can enjoy heaps of steamed and fried crab, shrimp, and the best crabcakes you’ve ever eaten. Wash it down with a cold beer and head into the arcade where you’ll find all of your arcade and pinball favorites from the 80’s and 90’s, from Frogger and Pac-Man to Tekken and Mortal Kombat. Game costs range from 25 to 75 cents and they hold occasional tournaments. You can’t afford to miss Crabtowne!

Flip Side Retro Arcade
Enjoy all your favorites from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s at Flipside Retro Arcade and Museum in Bristol, TN. Flipside is a family-friendly vintage arcade with classic consoles like Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and N64, as well as some of the all time favorites like, Pac-Man, Frogger, and Donkey Kong. Most of the pinball machines are sought after by collectors and very rare, like Wizard of Oz, the Hobbit, Sega Harley Davidson-99 and a 1955 Wonderland machine, one of only a handful left in the world. One low price to play all day or purchase a monthly pass. Play Gottlieb Bingo from 1931 to win a free pass!

Starcade
Remember when malls had arcades where you could play for hours? Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing, NJ still has one! Starcade has all of the classics like Robotron, Galaga and Burger Time, as well some vintage Star Wars video games and a nice collection of old Williams pinball machines. Starcade also offers console gaming. All games are set to free play so you can enjoy the arcade by the hour for a very low fee.

QuarterWorld Arcade
QuarterWorld Arcade is a barcade in Portland, Oregon with the second largest collection of pinball machines in the city. They have 32 pinball games on location, with a selection that includes games like The Addam's Family, Batman '66 and Iron Man. In addition to pinball, they also have over 50 classic arcade games featuring titles like Marvel vs. Capcom, NBA Jam, Pac-Man and others. If you're looking for something different to do, they also have other fun games like Dance Dance Revolution, basketball, and skee ball. QuarterWorld has 2 full bars if you get thirsty, with a focus on cocktails and draft beer. They also serve American pub food like burgers and pizza. QuarterWorld is 21+ except for Saturdays and Sundays between 1pm and 7pm. And yes, they take quarters.

The Game Preserve
The 80's are back! The Game Preserve is a true classic arcade in Spring, TX with original arcade games like Star Wars, Robotron, Joust, Centipede, Street Fighter and a hundred more, plus over 25 pinball machines like The Addams Family, Twilight Zone, and Dr Who all on free play. Get a day pass or a monthly membership, and bring your own food and beer since you’ll want to stay a while. Love it here? Check out their original NASA location.

Morristown Game Vault
Located in a century-old bank, Morristown Game Vault in Morristown, NJ treats gaming like treasure. Inside the vault are classic arcade games from Donkey Kong to Pacman and a rotating collection of pinball machines. In the safe deposit box you’ll find PlayStation and Nintendo consoles and around each corner, more hidden gems. Game Vault charges an hourly rate and games are set to free play or join a weekly pinball tournament.

The Garcade
The Garcade in Menomonee Falls, WI is a massive homage to classic gaming built for family fun. This retro arcade and pinball hall has over 150 video games, 30 pinball machines, air hockey, dance and rhythm machines, foosball and more. Pay admission and play all day. Dorky's Arcade
Dorky's Arcade in downtown Tacoma, WA is an arcade experience not to be missed, with nearly every arcade game you can imagine. Pac Man Battle Royale, a Pong table, an entire section dedicated to Star Wars, including the new Star Wars Battle Pod, Space Invaders, and air hockey and foosball. Games take quarters and all ages are welcome until 10p.m. Dorky’s has an insane beer selection of about 300 crafts, imports and ciders, and an impressive menu complete with vegan dishes. Great spot for a date, party or pinball tournament!
