Formerly a secret pinball speakeasy, Add A Ball is a hidden gem in the Fremont area of Seattle, WA, located across the street from Brouwers on the alley. Add A Ball is a retro dive bar arcade with two floors of video arcade games and glorious old pinball machines. It’s worth visiting just to scope out the quirky decor, but you’ll also find quirky pins like Badcats, Party Animal, and Radical! For an adults-only bar serving up strong drinks, cheap beer, and pizza by the slice, these machines are beautifully maintained. Even the locals will tell you this place is very Seattle.

The Triple Knock
Pinball connoisseurs in Tacoma, WA, know The Triple Knock is the best bar in town to knock a few back, flip a few pins and compare notes with the best flippers in town on how to save that silver ball. Triple Knock’s pinball tournaments include team play, women’s tournaments, and split flipper tournaments. They keep around 20 games on location at any given time but have a selection of over 150 machines to rotate from. Games are set to free play with your admission fee, so you can play all day if you want (plus they allow ins and outs). If you're looking to compete, they host a casual weekly pinball tournament format called Howdy Pardner!
Unlike some of the other more popular arcades in Portland and elsewhere, Wedgehead focuses exclusively on pinball machines, so no video games or other arcade machines to district you from your intended purpose. They offer a food menu to go with your beverages that features items like burgers, sandwiches, burritos and shareable appetizers. EightyTwo in Los Angeles, CA, features a barcade with an outdoor patio, nightly DJs, and arcade and pinball competitions. Level One Bar + Arcade in Columbus, OH is an 80’s themed bar where arcade games are free if you’re drinking and pinball is only 50 cents. Level One is small and locally owned and serves up local craft beers and cocktails. Pinball includes games like Medieval Madness, Iron Maiden, Deadpool, Tales from the Crypt, and Banzai Run and are all well maintained. Bring a date or join a league!

The Pyramid Scheme
Grand Rapids, MI, is home to another infamous pyramid scheme, but this Pyramid Scheme is a pub and music venue with a pinball arcade full of the latest Sterns and a few old classics. There’s even a custom AC/DC pinball with a limited edition “Whole Lotta Rosie” backglass. The Pyramid Scheme is laid-back, a little kitschy, and attracts fantastic independent artists, comedians, and rock musicians to its stage.

I/O Arcade Bar
I/O Arcade Bar is Madison, WI’s place for drinkers with a gaming problem. Located in a refurbished warehouse, this arcade bar bills itself as a place for “nerds of all kinds” with an 80's vibe reminiscent of Aladdin's Castle at the mall. I/O has a large selection of video and pinball games, including Deadpool and Godzilla Premium, all run on quarters, or choose from a library of board games. I/O is a 21+ venue but hosts all-ages hours every Sunday from 11 am to 1 pm.

Tilt Pinball
Tilt Pinball is a pinball arcade with a wide range of new and vintage machines along with video games, pool tables, air hockey, and other unique games. They have over 50 arcade and pinball machines and host pinball leagues and tournaments. Tilt Pinball also offers a full bar with craft beers and an outstanding menu of healthy, upscale bar food and shareable plates. This place will definitely be worth your time.

Birdfish Brewing Co.
Birdfish Brewing Co. is a great brewery with 20+ pinball machines. The pinball collection covers a variety of newer games. For the brewery, it has indoor and outdoor space with lots of different beer and ciders available. They also have food trucks on site.

Riverside Game Lab
The Riverside Game Lab is the perfect combination of both classic and modern arcades, pinball, and virtual reality under one roof. They have six Virtual Reality booths and an Immersive Virtual Reality room. For the pinball player, they have about 20 games and tournaments. They also have the following types of arcade games: classic, retro, fight, rhythm (including DDR), sports, racing, and shooting. They also offer e-sports tournaments with casual and competitive gamers! The Riverside Game Lab has a full bar and a small food menu. The Riverside Game Lab has at least one of every gaming experience so you never have to look far for what you want to play!

GameCraft Arcade
GameCraft is an arcade bar with classic video arcade machines, pinball, and skeeball. They have local craft beers, ciders, and gamer-themed cocktails. They are 21+, Monday through Saturday, but Sunday is Family Day. The pinball collection is about 20 games, including Godzilla, Ghostbusters, Toy Story 4, and Stranger Things. GameCraft does not have a restaurant, but you may bring in outside food. They also hold bi-weekly pinball tournaments.

Arcade Super Awesome
Arcade Super Awesome is an '80s pinball bar with a good mix of '80s and '90s pinball machines. It is a cozy place with very bright colors and '80s decor. They do have pinball tournaments throughout the year. Arcade Super Awesome is located inside Sideswipe Brewing, so it has a large beer selection and a full bar. It is a family-friendly place until it starts 21+ hours starting at 9 pm. There is a pizza place, Yellow Brick, located upstairs.

Cidercade Houston
Cidercade Houston features over 275+ new and retro games. The variety of games includes classic, fighting, shooting, driving, sports, and pinball games. They have 15+ newer pinball games. Cidercade also has air hockey, ping pong tables, and skee ball. They offer unlimited play for $10. Of course, Cidercade offers a variety of hard ciders. They do not have food but often have food trucks. They are family-friendly during the day but 21+ after 8 pm.

YESTERcades of Somerville
YESTERcades is an entertainment venue that has classic arcade games with some modern gaming mixed in. They also have air hockey tables, pool tables, and skee ball. YESTERcade is unlimited play for 9.25 per hour or $25 per day. It is also a BYOB Thursday - Sunday.

EinStein's Pub & Arcade
EinStein's Pub & Arcade features pinball, music, and sports. It is a great place to hang out with friends and family in a neighborhood bar style environment. They have a great selection of draft beers and food and goes 21+ after 9 pm each night. Besides pinball, EinStein's Pub and Arcade has air hockey, skee ball, bubble hockey, foosball, and DDR. The pinball collection is 15+ games ranging from the 1970s to current games, and they hold monthly tournaments. They also have a DJ Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Level Up Arcade (Eugene)
Level Up Arcade has over 90 video arcades and pinball games. In addition to pinball machines, they have group party games, drivers, shooters, golf, and more. They have 16 taps of microbrews, fresh cocktails, food, and a DJ every Friday and Saturday night. They are 21+ after 9 pm but family-friendly during the day.

Mission Control
Mission control is a barcade bringing the '80s back with style, video arcade games, and pinball machines. Their video game collection includes Pac-Man and Donkey Kong. For pinball machines, they have classic games, including Jurassic Park and Attack from Mars. Mission Control does have pinball tournaments. It is located on the 2nd floor of the McFadden Public Market and usually has a DJ playing awesome music. Children are allowed during the day but 21+ at 9 pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

Free Play Denton

Local pinball enthusiasts regularly host tournaments and leagues here. This dive bar is LGBTQ+ friendly and hosts the occasional drag show, plus trivia, bingo, and karaoke. Mustang Sally Brewery
Mustang Sally Brewing Company is a craft brewery inspired by Old World brewing traditions. It is a fun place with chalkboard walls, corn-hole, Jenga, and pinball machines. They offer food from Eugene's Sausage & Fries, which serves hot dogs, burgers, gourmet sausage, milkshakes, and fries. Mustang Sally Brewing is 21+.

Gainesville FL Arcade Bar
The Arcade Bar is a 21+ bar that has games, drinks, and dancing. It consists of three stories of pinball machines, shooters, fighters, skee ball, and more video arcade games. They have two full-service bars and a patio for dancing to the jukebox or live DJs. The Arcade Bar has the 70s and 80s vibe with their throwback decore.

Crave 80s
