Five pinball fanatics pooled their private collections to form the Rochester Pinball Collective and put East Rochester, NY on the pinball map. Located upstairs in Piano Works mall, the state’s 2nd largest collection of retro to modern games attract top-ranked pinball players for tournaments. Machines are set on unlimited free allowing players to pull the plunger for hours for a small entrance fee. Looking to buy, sell or repair pinball machines? Built in a former movie theater, the Appalachian Pinball Museum in Hendersonville, NC feels grand when you enter this retro arcade experience. Placards on each machine explain its history as you go from playing a shooting gallery game from the 60's to playing a newly released pinball machine. Grab a can of beer and try your hand at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tales from the Crypt or Twilight Zone. Folks under the age of thirteen must be accompanied by an adult, but it’s free to take a gander or $12 to buy a wrist band and play all day. Don’t miss their collection of 80’s push pins.

The Arcade is a throwback pinball and classic video games arcade open on weekends to play all day for a small entrance fee. Think of it as an art exhibit with interactive, connective works of art and a docent who is a walking pinball encyclopedia. A brief synopsis is posted near every machine and players must be at least 7 years old to play – though younger family members may come observe. Local craft brews, ciders and vintage sodas are available here, but the main draw is pinball. 

LITT Pinball Bar (Formerly TILT / TLT) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a pinball paradise with the largest collection of pinball machines in the city. LITT Pinball Bar (Formerly TILT / TLT) offers classic pinball games like "Eight Ball Deluxe," "World Cup Soccer," and "Whitewater," as well as newer games like "Toy Story."

The bar also has a selection of hot dogs, craft beer, and cocktails for visitors to enjoy while they play. LITT is 21+ after 9 pm, but children under 18 are welcome before 9 pm as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Home of the Alamo Pinball Leagues, What's Brewing Coffee Roasters is the best pinball location in San Antonio, TX and the coffee isn’t bad either. This hidden treasure has an eclectic mix of machines like FunHouse, Whirlwind, and Atlantis that run on quarters, but you’ll keep running all day for $2 all you can drink coffee. You’ll java really great time!

Comics 2 Games in Florence, KY is home to a stunning pinball collection with beautiful newer collector's editions with extra appointments and a handful of hard to find older machines, all meticulously maintained with invisiglass on everything and they shoot like butter. With most machines set to 50 cent play, Comics 2 Games is known as the area’s most affordable spot for pinball. Oh, and there are also a few comic books, Funko Pops, and Pokemon cards.

Jedi Alliance is a standout arcade in Spokane, with over 100 pinball and arcade machines available Fridays and Sundays, 6-10 pm at 2024 E Boone Ave​. More than just an arcade, it houses a vast vintage toy collection and rare movie props, making it a paradise for pop culture and pinball enthusiasts alike​. Main Street Pinball in Grain Valley, Missouri, is a notable destination for pinball enthusiasts in the Kansas City area. Located at 518 North Main Street, it was established by Matthew Heard, a lifelong pinball enthusiast. The venue features approximately 50 pinball machines, showcasing a diverse range from the year 1948 to 2023, along with several arcade games. This lineup makes it a unique spot for experiencing both classic and modern pinball games.

As a pinball focused outpost a few blocks from Galloping Ghost Arcade, they offer an incredible variety of over forty two games all available on free play with just a $20 admission fee. What started as a few collectors playing tournaments in their homes has grown into the Richmond Pinball Collective, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the love of pinball to the community in Richmond, VA. This wide-ranging collection of new and old machines is the area’s largest and a must-stop for any serious pinhead. Check it out for a one-time fee or become a member for a very reasonable monthly cost. Monthly tournaments and a small selection of beer, soda, and snacks.

Helicon Brewing in Oakdale, PA is a unique destination for craft beer lovers and pinball enthusiasts alike. Their 15 barrel brewery boasts a 48 seat taproom, offering 8-12 delicious beers on tap, including seasonal and limited releases. Not only that, they also have over 40 pinball games including many of the highest rated games! Helicon Brewing hosts a wide variety of events such as live music and rotating food trucks as well as pinball tournaments. Follow them on social media so you can be updated when they offer free play pinball events! There is something for everyone at Helicon Brewing; enjoy their great beers, play pinball and hang out in their outdoor space with a warming bonfire or play a round of cornhole. 

Flashback Arcade in Murfreesboro, TN is a wonderful, unassuming destination for any arcade enthusiast looking to enjoy some classic and modern games! From 40 different pinball machines of all eras, to the ever popular Dance Dance Revolution, Flashback has plenty to offer. There's also a great selection of other retro and new-gen arcade titles as well. All machines are set up for free play and entrance will only set you back $15. Flashback Arcade is kept very clean and well maintained so you're sure to have a great time - just make sure to get your grub on before or after your visit since there isn't food or drink available at this establishment!

Playable Pinball Museum in Battle Creek, MI is a small collection of vintage and modern pinball machines with some real gems from the 60’s and 70’s and machines going all the way back to 1947. Located in a plaza, the pinball machines are set to free play for a low fee and tournaments are held regularly.

One of the nation’s finest pinball arcades, Blizzard Mountain Pinball in Conifer, CO has a great mix of early solid state games, higher-end Bally and Williams games, premium Sterns, Jersey Jacks, and high-end older games like Addams Family, Medieval Madness, and Tales of the Arabian nights.
