Another Castle: Arcade Edition – a video game store and coin-op arcade with classic arcade and pinball machines in Edmonds, WA has all of Mario’s friends, plus classic arcade games, Japanese imported games, and a solid collection of classic and modern pinball. Another Castle is an old school arcade with a cooler full beer, soda, and a few snacks. Play some Dance Dance Revolution, Mrs. Pacman, or Super Mario Bros pinball and be sure to ask about tournaments. This is a great spot to bring the kids!

The Riverside Game Lab is the perfect combination of both classic and modern arcades, pinball, and virtual reality under one roof. They have six Virtual Reality booths and an Immersive Virtual Reality room. For the pinball player, they have about 20 games and tournaments. They also have the following types of arcade games: classic, retro, fight, rhythm (including DDR), sports, racing, and shooting. They also offer e-sports tournaments with casual and competitive gamers! The Riverside Game Lab has a full bar and a small food menu. The Riverside Game Lab has at least one of every gaming experience so you never have to look far for what you want to play!

It has a restaurant, bar, pinball, pool tables, rhythm games, retro classic video arcade games, and driving, shooting, and fighting games. All games are on Free Play with one low price per person. The kitchen includes slushies, craft drinks, beer, and wine.

Arcade Odyssey is a top-rated arcade experience with recognizable classics like PacMan and asteroids, modern titles like Mario Kart and Dance Dance Revolution, extremely rare games like Meltdown and Aarr Technologies’ Jet-Ball and unique imported Japanese arcade games. A whole row of Candy cabinets keep the games fresh and the back of the arcade is a Lan Center PC setup where regular gaming tournaments take place. Pinball machines here range from 90’s to the latest popular themes. Odyssey also serves craft beer, ciders, and imported beers, Japanese sodas and sakes. Everything at Odyssey but the bar runs on tokens.

They do hold pinball tournaments and are family-friendly until 8 pm. Also, games are free to play with a $10 admission for adults and $5 for children. The Basement Arcade Bar offers a full bar, including cider, craft, domestic, and imports. They do not serve food but have snacks in a vending machine and are close to restaurants.

Timeline Arcade is the place to step back in time with over 300+ video arcade games and pinball machines. The overall selection of pinball machines includes both old and new games. They have retro decor and also have a pool table. They do allow BYOB after 7 pm. Timeline Arcade is $10 per hour and $5 for each additional hour. They do have a $25 all-day pass. Children are welcome but must have a parent present in the facility.

In addition, they have about 20+ pinball machines, including the Addams Family, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, South Park, and Taxi. The Flipside is family-friendly and has a full bar with 90 spirits, local and craft beers on tap, frozen drinks, and non-stop free snacks. They are currently closed on Wednesdays for private events.

Mission control is a barcade bringing the '80s back with style, video arcade games, and pinball machines. Their video game collection includes Pac-Man and Donkey Kong. For pinball machines, they have classic games, including Jurassic Park and Attack from Mars. Mission Control does have pinball tournaments. It is located on the 2nd floor of the McFadden Public Market and usually has a DJ playing awesome music. Children are allowed during the day but 21+ at 9 pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

Cidercade Houston features over 275+ new and retro games. The variety of games includes classic, fighting, shooting, driving, sports, and pinball games. They have 15+ newer pinball games. Cidercade also has air hockey, ping pong tables, and skee ball. They offer unlimited play for $10. Of course, Cidercade offers a variety of hard ciders. They do not have food but often have food trucks. They are family-friendly during the day but 21+ after 8 pm.

Shorty’s is a whimsical, circus-themed pinball arcade featuring old school arcade games like Joust and Galaga, and a rotating lineup of pinball machines. Shorty’s is probably the only place in the world where it is acceptable to set a drink on a pinball table – the booth’s table, not the cabinet tables. Shorty’s serves a great hot dog and a full bar to anyone who’s over 21.
