Just as the months of breadcrumb-like teases were getting stale, DPX, the off-shoot/studio brand/whatever of Dutch Pinball (The Big Lebowski), officially launched Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with a on their Facebook page followed by a .

The game famously started its life as a foam-core prototype by John Popadiuk's failed Zidware company in 2011, featuring art by a then-obscure Jeremey Packer (Zombie Yeti).
The rights to the game would change hands a few times before finally settling with Melvin Williams, an obscure Dutch pinball collector turned upstart manufacturer under the new DPX (Dutch Pinball Exclusive) flag.
In order to bring the game to life, Melvin would have almost to go back to square one since the original concept never progressed past the foam-core stage. This included re-doing much of the game's original art concepts and finishing engineering work to make it playable.
DPX contracted with Lior from the Art of Pinball for sculpts, which feature prominently in the game's aesthetic. Over the summer, they partnered with Cary Hardy and Kaneda's Pinball Podcast in order to provide select leaks and teasers to parts of the pinball community.
DPX will have several copies of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland set up and ready to play at Pinball Expo later this month.
The game is being sold through authorized distributors only, with a mix in the United States (Cointaker, Pinball Traders, GAP) and throughout Europe.
DPX has committed to only producing 500 units, with roughly 300 allocated to North American buyers and 200 to the European market.
The game comes in one trim with all extras included (i.e. a topper), for USD $12,500.
