Brian Eddy is a legendary pinball designer best known for creating two of the 1990s’ most celebrated pinball machines: Attack From Mars and Medieval Madness.
As a young prodigy at Williams Electronics, he combined his programming skills with creative design to produce games that thrilled both casual players and hardcore pinball enthusiasts. Eddy’s titles are often hailed as the perfect blend of accessible fun and deep gameplay, featuring innovative playfield toys (like Medieval Madness’s exploding castle) and smooth, flowing action that keep players coming back for more. After helping define an era of pinball, Eddy stepped away to design video games, only to return two decades later and continue his pinball legacy at Stern Pinball.
His recent works, including Stranger Things and The Mandalorian, show that he still has the magic touch for crafting engaging, modern pinball experiences.

Stern's new Dungeons & Dragons pinball blends RPG mechanics with approachable features like saved progress, aiming to draw in both casual gamers and dedicated fans. While not flawless, it's an exciting step forward in pinball design.
