Hot Tip Rules

Quickie Version:

Spinner all day from the right flipper, drop targets from the left.

Go-to Flipper:

Right

Risk Index:

Very High

Shots to Master:

Spinner.

Skillshot(s):

Center saucer, ideally nudging so that double bonus is lit when the ball drops in. The saucer lights cycle clockwise on top slingshot hits, so count how many you’ll need before you plunge.

Full Rules:

Right flipper: Spinner all day. The only way to get double bonus is landing in the top saucer when lit for it, so keep trying until you get it. Then keep shooting it anyway for spinner points, advances and other saucer points. Left flipper: shoot the “H-O-T-T-I-P” drop targets to light the spinner. Once the spinner is lit, try to get the ball on the right flipper for spinner shot; one way is to shatz, since the space above the flippers is somewhat wide. You can still shoot at the drop targets, which are worth 1000 apiece [instead of 100] once you’ve completed them, but I prefer to focus on the spinner at that point; it’s safer.
